NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Riverside, County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, has determined that certain personal property owned by the Fire District is no longer needed for public use and will be offered for sale by online public auction.
The surplus property to be sold consists generally of used firefighting equipment, tools, equipment, apparatus components, and other miscellaneous personal property, as more particularly described in the individual auction listings.
The sale will be conducted online through GovDeals, an electronic procurement platform. Bidders may view and bid on items by visiting https://www.govdeals.com/riversidefiredist. The online public auction will commence on September 21, 2026, at 7:00 A.M. and will conclude on September 28, 2026, at 7:30 P.M. Individual auction lots may have different scheduled closing times. Individual lots may also be extended in accordance with the GovDeals terms and conditions when active bidding occurs at or near the scheduled closing time.
All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS,” without warranty, express or implied. The Fire District makes no representation or warranty concerning the condition, fitness for use, or suitability of any property offered for sale. Buyers are responsible for all costs associated with the removal and transportation of purchased property.
Bidders are responsible for reviewing the complete description, photographs, terms and conditions, and any other information provided for each individual auction lot before submitting a bid.
The Fire District reserves the right to reject all bids if the Fire District determines such rejection to be in the public interest, in accordance with applicable law.
