Riverside Fire Company was founded in June of 1892. Then, and now, the mission of the Riverside Fire Company No 1. is to reduce the loss of life and economic damage to a structure due to a fire and related emergencies through leadership, training, prevention and support to the citizens of Riverside and mutual aid companies.

 

Riverside Fire District No. 1 – Board of Fire Commissioners 

NOTICE – TOWNSHIP OF RIVERSIDE

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Riverside, County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, shall ask the legal voters of said Fire District at a special election on Saturday, December 10, 2016, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., or longer if necessary, to approve or disapprove the construction of a fire house and the issuance of bonds for the payment of the improvement.

            Said voting shall take place at the District Headquarters, 4 West Scott Street, Riverside, New Jersey (Riverside Fire Company No. 1).  Fire District No. 1 is comprised of all Election Districts within the Township of Riverside.

            By authorization of the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Riverside, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:14-72.
